There was a period of my life when I dreaded washing my hair.
Every time I stepped into the shower, I would brace myself for what I was about to see. Strands wrapped around my fingers. Clumps collecting at the drain. Hair all over my brush, my clothes, my bathroom floor.
I remember staring at my reflection and wondering, “What is happening to me?”
At the time, my body was going through so much. I was living with stage 4 endometriosis, struggling with anemia, low vitamin D levels, thyroid issues, and later, IVF. Looking back, it feels obvious that my hair was trying to tell me something.
But when you’re in it, you don’t always connect the dots.
I spent years trying everything. Expensive treatments. Supplements. Topicals. Hair masks. Oils. Promises.
Some things helped temporarily. Most didn’t.
What I eventually learned is that healthy hair isn’t created by one miracle product.
It’s a reflection of what’s happening inside your body.
The first thing I focused on was healing from within.
I worked to correct my anemia. I replenished my vitamin D levels. I supported my thyroid. I addressed nutrient deficiencies and inflammation. Slowly, my body started responding.
That’s what inspired me to create holi (mane).
I wanted more than just another collagen powder. I wanted a daily ritual that could help support women from the inside out. One scoop became two. Then three. It became part of my morning routine and a foundation for my own hair journey.
As I continued learning, I realized there was another piece missing.
Hair health isn’t only about collagen. It’s also about supporting the body’s natural renewal processes, maintaining healthy skin and scalp function, and giving your cells the nutrients they need to thrive.
That’s why I created holi (radiance).
Together, holi (mane) and holi (radiance) became my daily non-negotiables.
Then came IVF.
Anyone who has gone through fertility treatments knows how emotional the experience can be. The hormones, the stress, the waiting, the uncertainty. My body had already been through so much, and my hair felt the effects too.
I wanted something specifically designed to support the appearance of fuller, thicker hair at the scalp.
That’s when holi (growth) 84 was born.
I formulated it with ingredients I personally became fascinated by during my own research journey, including spermidine, copper peptides, and Redensyl®. It became the final step in supporting my scalp and helping create the ideal environment for healthier-looking hair.
But there was still one problem.
Even as new hair appeared, the hair I already had was damaged.
Years of coloring.
Years of heat styling.
Years of hormone fluctuations.
Years of sun, ocean water, chlorine, tight ponytails, brushing, blowouts, and trying to force my hair to be something it wasn’t.
I realized that growth and repair are two completely different conversations.
That’s why I created holi (locks).
I wanted a product that didn’t just disguise damage. I wanted something that helped hair actually feel healthier. Softer. Stronger. More resilient.
The truth is, my hair journey wasn’t about finding one magic solution.
It was about rebuilding.
First my body.
Then my scalp.
Then my hair.
Today, when women tell me they’re struggling with shedding, thinning, breakage, postpartum changes, perimenopause, hormone shifts, IVF, or simply years of damage, I understand exactly how they feel because I’ve lived it.
This collection wasn’t created in a boardroom. It was created through years of frustration, research, healing, and hope. And every single product tells a piece of that story.
With love,
Jena
