Our Love of Soil
Our nourishing intention goes beyond our products—it reaches down into the living soil that sustains everything we do. Through regenerative farming, we care for the health of even the smallest members of our ecosystem: the bacteria, fungi, nematodes, protozoa, and micro-arthropods that work together to build rich, vibrant soil.
The love we give to the land is returned to us. Our cows graze on healthy, diverse pasture home to more than 40 native plant species—pasture that can only thrive through thoughtful, true stewardship. Year after year, our fields grow more resilient and alive, a testament to farming rooted in patience, respect, and trust in nature’s rhythms.
Our Love of Cows
Our cows (and chickens) are essential partners in our love story with the soil. Through rotational grazing, they naturally cycle nutrients back into the earth, building organic matter, enriching the soil, and keeping grasses green year-round.
Beyond their role in soil health, we cherish their temperaments and unique personalities. As Dairy Manager Vanessa Nunes shares:
“I'm thankful for our cows, and their curious, beautiful souls. I believe cows can sense what I'm feeling, and I have that cow sense when I am with them as well. We have a special bond. They know me, and I, them. I'm thankful to be a protector and a provider for these gals, and for what they give us in return: milk, love, and a life."
Our Love of Good Nutrition
Healthy soil and healthy cows produce nutrient-dense dairy. Our milk is rich in essential vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and protein. This year, testing with the ISO-accredited Edacious Food Lab has confirmed the high Omega 6-to-3 ratio in our 100% grass-fed products and revealed just how rich our whole milks are in Riboflavin (read more about that below).
