Dear Friends,
Over the past several days, the American Jewish University community came together for an extraordinary and emotional series of milestone moments — each reflecting AJU’s enduring mission and our singular focus on the Jewish future.
On Sunday, the Masor School for Jewish Education and Leadership celebrated graduation, including an historic moment as seven pioneering students received AJU’s first Doctor of Education (EdD) degrees in Early Childhood Education Leadership. We also celebrated 28 graduates receiving Master of Arts in Education in Early Childhood Education degrees and 9 graduates earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in Early Childhood Education, each prepared to shape the next generation of Jewish learning and leadership.

On Monday evening, the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies ordained new rabbis Rabbi Brianah Caplan and Rabbi Cantor Malachi Kanfer, while also conferring honorary doctorates upon members of the Class of 2006 in recognition of their leadership and impact.

|
|
And on Tuesday night, our community gathered in celebration of Rabbi Dr. Bradley Shavit Artson and his 25 years of service to AJU, the Ziegler School and the Jewish people. Together, we raised more than $1.6 million in support of AJU’s future. We were also honored to announce the naming of the Goldstine Distinguished Scholar position in Rabbi Artson’s honor, made possible through the dedication and vision of Rosalyn and Abner (z"l) Goldstine and their son, Ethan Goldstine.

| This week was a powerful reminder that AJU is more than an institution. It is a community built by people who care deeply about Jewish life, Jewish learning, and Jewish leadership.
Thank you for showing up. Thank you for supporting AJU. Thank you for believing in this renewed vision and for helping us continue building the leaders of tomorrow.
