When the Nazis came to power, JDC obtained visas and safe passage for nearly 100,000 Jews in Germany. After the Second World War, we provided support for 250,000+ Holocaust survivors in displaced persons (DP) camps. And for decades, we helped tens of thousands of Jews flee Soviet persecution and start a new life abroad.
