A Note from the Scribe
Remember Entry No. 004, “The Griffin” Merlot? One of the most-wanted releases of our very first summer. We don’t do sequels — so think of Chimera as the Captain America to Griffin’s Tony Stark. Same legendary vineyard, different strengths.
Decanter called Griffin “one heck of a Merlot.” Chimera? “Positively one of the darkest, boldest, most muscular Merlots you may yet stain your wine glass with.”
Purple-garnet in the glass, pouring red and black cherry, blueberry and plum — and somehow still super, duper SOFT minutes after opening.

“
Positively one of the darkest, boldest, most muscular Merlots you may yet stain your wine glass with. It is brooding, built on blackberry, black cherry, and cassis fruit, dusty mineral notes, and chewy tannins underscoring plummy fruit, pie spices, cedarwood notes, and chocolate, with perfumed rose petals and a long, mineral-scented, medium- to full-bodied finish.
