In mid-March, Derry, along with her littermates, arrived at the ASPCA Recovery & Rehabilitation Center. She was tiny, emaciated and in need of urgent medical care.
Derry spends her time at our facility in one of the 80 kennels. In her kennel, Derry is provided with food, water, treats, enrichment toys and access to fresh air through a doggy door that opens up to the other half of her safe space, outside.
She gets all the medical and behavioral care she needs. She even has an hour of quiet time, along with the rest of the residents of the facility, when lights are turned off and the barking softens.
She may have had a rough start, but ASPCA staff ensure she gets everything she needs to become healthy and happy.
It’s thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, Email, that makes facilities like the ASPCA Recovery & Rehabilitation Center possible, and we can’t thank you enough for being a part of this community.
And we share our thanks with our staff as well, who keep this lifesaving facility up and running. You can thank our staff today by sending a note in support of the work they do for all the rescued animals in our care. |
