The Sweet Halloween Archives of a Candy Historian

For the New York candy collector Jason Liebig, peak sugar-hunting season begins in September, when Halloween sweets first appear in supermarkets. From Cadbury’s Screme Eggs, to XScream Snickers and Witchmallows, Liebig’s extensive archives commemorate the arrival of kooky candy creations from decades past and contain confections from all over the world. He compares the volume of candy circulation to the fossil record and says his mission is to document each and every unique, sweet artifact he discovers.
