Jannik Sinner could hardly be carrying more winning momentum into his bid to complete the Career Grand Slam at Roland Garros.
The No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings enters the 2026 edition of the clay major on a career-best 29-match winning streak after reeling off ATP Masters 1000 titles in Indian Wells, Miami, Monte-Carlo, Madrid and Rome. Sinner will next attempt to become just the seventh man in the Open Era to complete the set of all four major trophies, aka the ‘Career Grand Slam’, by earning his maiden Roland Garros crown.
“It has been a very long but very positive period,” said Sinner, who held three championship points before falling to Carlos Alcaraz in the 2025 Roland Garros final, when asked about any potential fatigue from his stunning winning run. “I'm lucky to be in this position. I think it's always better to be in a position where you win and you start to feel tired than you feel very good, but you lose a couple of rounds.”

Buse Breaks The Top 50: Ignacio Buse enjoyed a double breakthrough at the Bitpanda Hamburg Open. As well as lifting his maiden ATP Tour title, the 22-year-old also ensured he would become just the fourth Peruvian to break the Top 50 in PIF ATP Rankings history. Buse is up 26 spots to No. 31 ahead of Roland Garros. |

When eight ATP Tour stars entered ‘The Locker Room’, little did they know what to expect…
As things turned out, this was not the sort of locker room that Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, Alex de Minaur, Alexander Bublik, Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, Flavio Cobolli or Zizou Bergs were used to. Instead of setting about preparing for their next match, the players simply sat down as three unique ‘motivation’ experts did their thing.
After words from two very 'different' motivational speakers and a performance from an opera singer, the impact of The Locker Room was clear. “To look back and realise what you’ve actually done. It was special,” Zverev said. “I was personally feeling a bit down from the Madrid final still, and I think seeing this really helped me. Thank you, it was really special.” |

"It’s more special [with my dad here]. I wish my mum was here also, but she is in Paris... I know she doesn’t enjoy live matches that much because she gets so nervous, but I know she’s enjoying this." |
