Happy Daylight Savings!
I used to dread "Springing Forward". The lost hour. The disruption.
But lately, I’ve started thinking about it differently.
It’s the marker that we made it through short, dark days.
The evenings are going to stretch a little.
The sky stays blue a little longer.
You can finish your day with some light left in it.
There’s something deeply hopeful about that, in some quiet ways that matter. Like, taking a longer walk, enjoying some sunshine after the work day.
I don’t see this shift as pressure to do more - it's permission to live more.
In the light.
With energy returning.
Noticing signs of the season changing.
And right now, this is the rhythm that rocks us.
Let's step into the light.
