KNICKS END 53-YEAR DROUGHTIn the most entertaining 5-game NBA Finals Series you’ll ever see, the Knicks came back from double-digit deficits four times — including a record-setting 29-point comeback in game 4 — to give the Knicks their first NBA Championship in 53 years. 

THE WORLD CUPThis month’s coolest thing newsletter is essentially a sports edition, and the 2026 World Cup has not disappointed. From the US National Team’s strong performance in the group stage to wildly dramatic shootouts, the tournament has been awesome.

3AM LATTEAre we seriously talking about slouchy socks named after caffeinated beverages? Yes. You’re welcome.

BIRDWELLOur swim trunks of the summer are Birdwell, for their 1960s-style board shorts that give major Endless Summer vibes.

SIEGELMAN STABLESiegelman Stable fuses harness racing and contemporary fashion, with a portion of all proceeds going to equine therapy programs. We first noticed the brand during the NBA Finals (Siegelman had a collaboration with the Knicks). Their US Soccer collaboration is worth checking out, too.
