Thank you for standing with Bread for the World to help end hunger. Right now, Congress is deciding if it will strengthen the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in Fiscal Year 2027 as part of its annual funding process.

Please join us in urging Congress to fully fund WIC and ensure that it remains accessible so that families can stay connected to the nutrition support they need.

WIC is the leading U.S. public health nutrition program for pregnant women, mothers, and children up to age five. It served nearly seven million low-income participants per month in 2025, including almost 40 percent of all infants. In 2021, Congress expanded WIC to provide participants both in-person and virtual access to program services, but these provisions will expire on September 30. Congress must now make these provisions permanent and fully fund this critical program.

Tell Congress to fully fund and strengthen WIC so that every eligible family can access the healthy food and nutrition support they need.
