After attending IFT's FIRST meeting for more than 20 years as a working food scientist, I'm excited to be attending this year as IFT's Chief Science and Technology Officer. And I have to say, I am really looking forward to it!

In the past I gave technical talks, presented posters, and sat on discussion panels. This year, I'm chairing a keynote with key experts on building trust in scientific consensus, moderating our Ignite-style business skills sessions with thought leaders from business and academia, and working with the volunteers in our Divisions, among other duties!
