Think Couch to 5K, but bikes |
Designed to get more people off the sofa and onto a saddle, the app offers users a fun and accessible eight-week journey to build a brilliant relationship with the bike.
Support is built in, all the way through, tackling the common barriers that we know can stop some from continuing to ride: - Bike handling to grow confidence
- Road positioning awareness
- Strength building with gentle exercises
- Nutrition, bike care and kit

Give the above video a watch and you'll spot a multiple world and Olympic champion... getting a lift on the back of Joe Marler's sofa bike. Victoria Pendleton MBE stepped in to give Joe a hand testing his new contraption, which was part of his ploy to become the face of Sofa to Saddle. You certainly made an impression, Joe!
It's likely you'll also hear from Lizzie Deignan MBE and other riders from the Great Britain Cycling Team as you watch the news or listen to the radio, encouraging people across the country to download the app and start their journey. |
This is a huge moment we can all get behind, and with 70% of adults wanting to get more active, the motivation is there. Help the nation turn to cycling, by telling everyone how cycling makes you feel - and how others can get started.
We've got plenty of support for you, with images ready to share on social. |
