This week marks Brooklyn Roasting Company's 16th anniversary of cafes - and 17 years since we first fired up a roaster and started delivering coffee across Brooklyn. Since those early days of roasting and wholesaling in 2009, our commitment to celebrating the bold, colorful character of the borough we call home and the coffees we source from around the world has never wavered. When we started, quality specialty coffee in New York City was genuinely hard to find. That landscape has changed considerably over sixteen years. But through all of it, we have stayed committed to this city and the people in it. That has never been in question. Our deepest gratitude goes to the tens of thousands of you waking up each day and popping open one of our trademark tins or 12oz bags at home. You are the reason we are still here.
