BU’s New Provost and Chief Academic Officer

Colin Duckett (left), Boston University’s new provost and chief academic officer, meets with Jason Campbell-Foster, dean of students, during a tour of the Charles River Campus on July 16. Duckett, an internationally renowned scholar, immunologist, and molecular biologist and a respected academic leader, began his new role at BU on July 1. During his tour, the new provost also met with staff in numerous offices across campus, including Mugar Memorial Library, the Newbury Center, the Center for Career Development, Student Health Services, Student Wellbeing, Residence Life, Innovate@BU, the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground, and the LGBTQIA+ Student Resource Center.
