The Prep Market!
Last summer, the Buffalo Bills Foundation awarded Buffalo Prep a $105,000 grant in support of the Prep Market, providing scholars access to fresh nutritious foods, freezer meals and in-school pantries.  Through Buffalo Prep’s partnership with Buffalo Go Green, scholars and their families can opt-in for weekly produce bags delivered directly to Buffalo Prep. Scholars participating in afterschool and weekend events also have access to fresh take meals, allowing them to continue their studies or extracurricular activities through the dinner hour.

To date, the Prep Market has served over 750 individuals through the distribution of 2,700+ fresh take meals and 480+ weekly produce bags. The services of Buffalo Prep’s Prep Market will expand to three additional sites this summer offering premade market bags for scholars to take home. By providing reliable and consistent food access, Buffalo Prep helps eliminate food insecurity and hunger as barriers, allowing scholars to fully engage in their educational experiences.
