Canterbury Rugby Clothing

This International Women’s Day, we’re recognising the players, leaders and communities driving the women’s game forward.

Across elite competition, product innovation and grassroots activation, the past year has marked another step in our long-term commitment to equity in strength.

Here’s how that commitment has shown up this year.

Renewing Our Commitment to PWR

Canterbury has renewed its partnership with Premiership Women’s Rugby for a further two years, continuing to provide access to boots for every player in the league.

Access to elite product matters. It raises standards. It signals belief. It ensures athletes have the tools they need to perform at the highest level.

Our investment in PWR ensures the women’s game is supported by the same engineering, innovation and performance standards that have defined Canterbury for generations.

Ellie Kildunne’s Signature Boot

In 2025, Ellie Kildunne collaborated with Canterbury to design her own signature rugby boot, a world first for a professional female rugby player.

Ellie worked closely with our product teams to make the boot unique to her personality.

The boots debuted during the World Cup semi-finals where Ellie scored twice against France, ending the tournament in a World Cup victory for England’s Red Roses.

Rallying Ireland Behind the Team

During the Women’s World Cup, we toured a giant Ireland jersey across clubs and communities across Ireland, inviting supporters to add messages of encouragement for the team.

The response was powerful. Players, families and fans came together to visibly back the squad on the world stage.

Ireland went on to achieve their best-ever Women’s World Cup performance, reaching the quarter-finals, a milestone moment for the team and for the women’s game in Ireland.

Support matters. Community matters. And when belief is shared, it carries further.

Anna McGann & Eve Higgins Join Canterbury

Following their work with ‘Release the Fleece’ last year, Anna McGann and Eve Higgins have joined Canterbury as official ambassadors.

Both athletes bring influence that extends beyond performance. Their presence in the game, their leadership and their connection to community reflect the values we stand for- resilience, unity and authenticity.

We’re proud to welcome them into the Canterbury family as they continue to shape the future of the Women’s game.

Support matters. Community matters. And when belief is shared, it carries further.
