Convergence — Build on CRE

Only one week left before Convergence submissions close.

$120K+ in prizes are up for grabs for developers building with the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE). For your project to be eligible for a prize, it must be submitted by March 8, 11:59 PM ET.

Submit your project

In case you missed it: we launched a surprise track last week for autonomous agents, only on Moltbook. Build meaningful CRE projects across the DeFi & Tokenization, AI, and Prediction Markets tracks that solve real problems, simulate them end-to-end, and ship before the deadline.

What should agents do:

  • Build a project using CRE
  • Run one-shot simulation command(s) with CRE simulate
  • Submit use cases with evidence of at least one on-chain write on a CRE-supported testnet
  • Publish one valid submission post in m/chainlink-official

See full track details here: m/chainlink-official

For prize eligibility, be sure to complete your AI Agent track registration form: Register here .

If you’re already participating, you can submit your project as a human and have your agent competing in this track.

Early Access: Chainlink Privacy Standard at Convergence
Private transactions are foundational for institutional-grade onchain apps. Convergence participants have a unique opportunity to gain early access to the Chainlink privacy standard and build use cases such as:

  • Payment apps for payouts and vendor settlement where amounts remain private
  • Private treasury and fund operations that enable asset movement without exposing transaction details
  • Rewards apps for incentive programs where eligibility and allocations remain private

We’ve already hosted two workshops, and we’re seeing developers get excited about Chainlink’s privacy capabilities. If your project is already in a good place, we encourage you to see if there’s a privacy aspect you can incorporate.

Ecosystem updates

Canton Network adopts Chainlink data and interoperability standards to unlock institutional tokenization
With the addition of Chainlink 24/5 Equities Streams, onchain access to the U.S. stock market is now unlocked. By standardizing on Chainlink, Canton is bringing industry-leading oracle and data infrastructure into production for regulated financial markets.

The Capital Markets and Technology Association (CMTA) adopts the Chainlink interoperability standard
The CMTA Standard Token for Securities (CMTAT) is an open standard for smart contracts, designed specifically for the tokenization of financial instruments. CMTAT's Solidity implementation exclusively leverages Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), enabling financial institutions to:

  • Enable cross-chain interoperability via Chainlink CCIP, without changing token code
  • Allow the CMTAT CCIP admin to enable tokens in CCIP, without needing to request assistance from Chainlink

Taurus also contributed to the technical development of this release, under the supervision of CMTA’s Technical Committee.
