And you wouldn’t be wrong. Friends like you have helped MAP provide medicine, health supplies, and medical devices to millions of people around the world.
But today, I want to share something closer to home.
Across America, millions of uninsured and under-insured families quietly struggle to access medicine. The truth is, this need is closer than many of us realize. It may be a hardworking parent facing an unexpected diagnosis. An elderly neighbor living on a fixed income, forced to choose between medication and groceries. Someone managing diabetes, heart disease, or prenatal care without adequate insurance.
These are not distant stories. They are people in communities like yours and mine.
That’s why we have the MAP USA Program.
In response to this urgent and growing need, MAP is taking bold action to dramatically expand the MAP USA Program so more patients can access the medicine they depend on.
Just as we partner with trusted clinics and health providers around the world, MAP also partners with free and charitable health clinics throughout the United States — equipping them with donated medicine, health supplies, and medical devices so they can serve people in need right in their own communities.
And now, with dedicated leadership in place, the MAP USA Program is poised to strengthen and scale this work — expanding our reach to help significantly more people across all 50 states.
This is not a change in who we are. It is a natural and faithful extension of the mission we have carried for more than 70 years: providing medicine, health supplies, and medical devices to people in need so they might experience life to the fullest.
