Behind two home runs from Eugenio Suárez and another shutout performance by All-Star hopeful Chase Burns, a decisive 12-0 victory set the tone on Monday. That was followed by a 5-3 win thanks to homers from Sal Stewart and Spencer Steer, a strong start from Brady Singer and a save by Tony Santillan. This marked the Reds’ fourth consecutive series win over the Mets.
The Reds are scheduled to send Rhett Lowder, Andrew Abbott and Chase Burns to the mound this weekend against the Bronx Bombers.
