 | After a successful rehab outing with the Louisville Bats this week, Reds ace Hunter Greene is on the cusp of making his season debut with the Reds.
During spring training, Greene underwent surgery to remove bone chips and loose bodies from his right elbow. He has been working tirelessly since to rejoin the Reds, and his four shutout innings for the Reds’ Triple-A affiliate on Tuesday has him that much closer.
Greene is scheduled to make another rehab with Louisville on Sunday and is hopeful to be in the Reds lineup as early as next weekend.
In 2025, Greene posted a 2.76 ERA in 19 starts with 132 strikeouts. Adding the 26-year-old to an already strong Reds rotation would be a major boost leading into the All-Star break. | | | | Upcoming Games at Great American Ball Park | Friday
