| At Ikanga Level 4 Hospital in Kitui County, Kenya, CMMB is reshaping maternal and newborn care. A newly established Newborn Unit, the first of its kind in the entire Kitui South sub-county, now provides incubators, phototherapy, and trained staff to care for premature and critically ill newborns. When an Mpox outbreak struck Western Equatoria State, CMMB was ready to respond. Working alongside international and local authorities, and with support from generous donors, CMMB helped establish an isolation center at Yambio State Hospital to provide affected patients with dignified care. In celebration Week the first week of April, CMMB celebrated the dedicated staff of Bishop Joseph Sullivan Hospital in Côtes-de-Fer, Haiti. Even as gang violence and instability strain the country, these health workers never gave upand never or stopped advocating for their patients. Thanks to their efforts and partner support, a new solar microgrid now provides the hospital with reliable power, giving staff the stable conditions they need to care for their patients with confidence.
