How Far in Advance Can a Stake Pool Schedule Its Retirement?
LidoNation has released a detailed post explaining the max_epoch parameter—the maximum number of epochs in the future a pool retirement can be scheduled in a deregistration transaction. Currently set at 18 epochs (90 days), this parameter helps provide predictability around pool retirements.
Why is this important? If a stake pool retires and you don’t move your ada in time, you stop earning rewards, and the network loses security. While responsible SPOs notify delegators, it’s ultimately your responsibility to stay informed.

FluidTokens recently announcement the launch of Aquarium, introducing babel fees on Cardano. The first successful Aquarium transaction on mainnet showcases the real-world application of this new fee model, allowing users to cover transaction costs with any Cardano native token.
