Hundreds of homes are overwhelmed with water after torrential rains Friday morning caused the Guadalupe River to rise 26 feet in just 45 minutes, all before dawn.

Many people were still asleep as the waters rose. This is the worst flood the U.S. has seen in decades. And it isn’t over. Communities are bracing for the coming storms this week. 

The need is urgent.
