At Plush + Oak, our commitment has always been to create exceptional furniture that reflects uncompromising craftsmanship, luxurious materials, and responsible North American manufacturing. Today, I want to share an important update with you directly.
Over the past several months, our industry has experienced significant changes. While we have worked hard to bypass global tariffs by proudly manufacturing in North America, our supply chain has been drastically impacted by recent changes to the United States–Canada–Mexico trade agreement under the current administration.
Materials that move between Canada and the United States—an essential part of our manufacturing process—are now subject to:
+10% tariff on key inputs such as lumber, strapping, and upholstery materials
+ a 25% export tariff on assembled goods between Canada/USA
These changes have created substantial pressure throughout our production pipeline. In the last six months alone our overall manufacturing costs have increased by 23%
Our team has explored every possible option to offset these increases. However, the only alternatives available would require compromises we are simply not willing to make—such as switching to inferior materials or moving production to overseas mass manufacturing.
We know that our customers choose Plush + Oak because of what makes our products special: meticulous craftsmanship, premium materials, and furniture built to last for years—made right here in North America.
In order to continue delivering the quality you expect from us, a 10% price increase will take effect across our website beginning April 1, 2026.
If you have been considering a Plush + Oak bed, accessories, or stools, we encourage you to take advantage of current pricing through March 31, 2026.
Additionally, if you plan to use our Production Deposit Program (50% deposit with the remaining balance due once your order is complete), placing your deposit before March 31 will lock in current pricing for the entire order.
