Good to see you this Thursday.

Wall Street is selling Bitcoin but the old holders are now buying it back — ETF sellers are exiting, but long-term holders are absorbing the outflows, turning the selloff into an ownership reset as Bitcoin tests whether ETF-era demand still supports prices.

Crypto is entering a tougher phase where access, attention, and trust carry higher costs: retail interest looks weaker than subscriber counts suggest, DeFi endured $780.3 million in known Q2 hack losses, the UK and Australia are tightening transfer and operating rules, Trump’s crypto-linked disclosure complicates the CLARITY Act debate, and Open USD backers are reigniting a stablecoin incentive fight for liquidity.

The global crypto market cap is $2.13 trillion, with a 24-hour volume of $94.15 billion. The price of Bitcoin is $61,775.12, and BTC market dominance is 58.0%. The price of Ethereum is $1,700.80, and ETH market dominance is 9.6%. The best-performing sector is AMM, which gained 10%. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index is currently Extreme Fear (19).
