It's been years since I last wrote an email like this—mostly because I assumed tens of thousands of clients wouldn't care.

But this year feels very different.

Human creativity is taking hits from every angle, so I think I can speak for all our artists and our team when I say THANK YOU.

I know you're grinding on projects before the holidays. And you probably don't think much about how meaningful your business is to us and to the artists behind the music you use.

But in the spirit of an old December email, I wanted to share with you how you helped support artists.

The FM family of brands (Musicbed, Filmsupply, and Stills) paid out $23,000,000 to more than 3,300 musicians, filmmakers, and photographers this year.

Every time you license their work, you are literally helping pay for rent, mortgages, kids' education, tours, and their ability to keep creating.

Like you, they are artists.

Like you, they have a point of view, a soul, and a desire to make meaningful work that speaks to people on a deeply emotional level.

Thank you for using their art to make your art.

Thank you for supporting all of our brands this year and in the years ahead.

This was our biggest year ever, and we could not be more grateful to you for that.

I hope you feel that 2026 hits a little different. We do. We are more committed to craft, authenticity, and art than ever.

It is an honor to build this community alongside you.
