Over the past week, I’ve given myself space to reflect not just on this business but on the routine of my days, how my body feels (physically and mentally), and the times when I’ve felt stretched too thin or not feeling joy. This wasn’t about chasing big, bold resolutions or mapping out a rigid plan for the year ahead. It was more honest than that.
I had a full day of strategy work with a business mentor with whom I've learned from in various ways for the past few years (Kristin Fisher Coaching), and she led me down a path of really paying attention to what’s working and what lights me up, the things that feel aligned and energizing. I also took a closer look at what feels heavy, scattered, or unnecessarily complicated. I took a hard look at the parts that weigh me down but have been hanging around out of habit, obligation, or fear.
I also had several meetings with individuals about opportunities and events for the next couple of months (see below for that information!).
This is what Fresh Intentions means to me right now. It’s not about starting from scratch; it’s about beginning from a place of clarity. It’s about choosing to move forward with more awareness, not more pressure.
One word kept coming up again and again during this process, and it’s the one I’ve chosen to guide me through 2026: Connection.
It’s a word I’ll be using to shape everything we do, not only as a feeling, but as a lens for decision-making. It will influence the kinds of products we offer, the way we show up online, and how we invite people into our studio space. It will guide how we create meaningful opportunities for community, creativity, and real-life moments together.
This year, I want less hustle and more heart. I'm craving fewer moving pieces and more intentional movement forward. I want to feel grounded in the work I do and connected to the people who make this business what it is - all of you!
If you’re feeling a similar pull to reset gently, to reflect honestly, and to realign with what matters most, I hope this gives you permission to take your time. I encourage you to sit in stillness and do the work to connect with what feels right and what does't. There’s no rush to figure everything out. Sometimes the best thing we can do is get quiet enough to hear what’s true.
