Happy Sunday, friend- Today is the longest day of the year and the most light we'll get all year. And I'll be honest, my first instinct with a day like this is to fill it. More daylight, more hours, more things I could finally get around to. As if the sun staying out late were a to-do list with the lights left on. But that's not what this day is asking for. The longest day isn't a reminder to do more. It's a chance to be present for more of it. To let the evening stretch out without hurrying it toward bedtime. To notice that the light lingers tonight, and to linger right along with it. So here is your reset: don't earn it or schedule it. Just let the day be long the way it wants to be. Sit outside until the light finally gives up. Let dinner run late. Let the evening be the whole point. And when the sun does dip, that is the part where you light something and let the evening keep going a little longer. The summer scents were made for exactly this kind of night. love & do good - Debbi
