Happy Sunday, friend- This week I'm doing something I don't do very often. I'm closing the studio for two weeks to be with my family and finally get to a few home projects that have been waiting on me all year (let the decluttering begin!). It feels a little strange to step away. It also feels like exactly what I'm always telling you to do, and I don't do a great job of it myself. So here's the question I keep coming back to, and I want to leave it with you too. What are you saving summer for? Maybe you are saving the road trip you want to take, trying something new, clearing your calendar for an entire day, the good candle, or calling that friend you haven't seen in a while. We have a habit of holding those things for later, for some version of life that feels more deserving of them. But later keeps moving and getting further down the road in the season. Here's my challenge for you this week: get in the car and start driving, light the candle, call the friend, clear your calendar. This is the summer you actually have. The online store stays open while I'm away, with free shipping, and we'll be sending orders out a few times over the next two weeks. If your shelf is looking a little bare, the Summer Collection still has some remaining stock. I will be back in the studio on July 14. Until then, I'll be trying my best to practice what I preach. love & do good - Debbi
