March 8, 2025,

It’s been a full week across the world of photography.

After several packed days in Yokohama, Mitchell, Abby, and Dale are back from CP+ 2026, wrapping up their final thoughts from the show floor after a week of hands-on time with the industry’s latest gear.

Back on the review desk, Richard found himself reflecting on the process of evaluating the Sony a7 V—and why balancing measurable performance with subjective experience remains one of the trickiest, but most important, parts of camera reviewing.

Meanwhile, Apple delivered updated MacBook Pro models and new HDR-capable monitors, both of which are likely to please modern digital photography enthusiasts who can afford them.

And on the community front, readers compared their favorite camera bags, while our member profile series continued with Diane Miller, whose background in biochemistry eventually led to a passion for nature and astrophotography.

Thanks as always for reading, watching, and supporting our work.
