This past week I wrote something that didn’t totally express what I was trying to say but kind of captured it about visiting the Apple campus, Apple’s new developments in child safety and parental control (they are A++++), and my addictive personality as it relates to my phone. I liked it, even though the message wasn’t totally clear.

When I was still in the early stages of figuring out my style, I got a pair of mermaid-hued and patterned sequin stretch pants from Yoox. I really regret getting rid of those—I felt amazing in them and also like I had unlocked myself when I wore them. These, from Oseree, are lame and sparkly and in a little tidy rainbow of colors and they scratch the same itch as my old sequin pants very nicely. Oseree, $273 (was $390)
I wear sunscreen on my face and neck every day, but I often forget about my lips. I don’t love most SPF lip balms, I think they can taste like sunscreen or look chalky, but this one doesn’t do that. It’s very moisturizing, I love the color, and I feel good knowing my lips aren’t getting damaged in the sun. G.W.S lip balm, $24
Ok, I don’t know if it’s actually better, but it’s more unexpected, which I love. Is it Zebra? Tiger? I don’t know, but the width is perfect, the minimalist belt buckle is great, everything about this is the right amount of fun, weird, and classic. Déhanche, $120 (was $250)
It’s wedding season! I have more and more people coming in to the store looking for something to wear to a wedding. And then also while I was scrolling, I found this—a near perfect wedding guest dress, and looks very very comfortable and is under $400. The design is simple, so you can easily dress it up or make it more personal with accessories, and is neither too risqué nor too bland. Faithfull, $350
When I first saw these I wasn’t sure what I thought of them, but then I saw them on a foot and oh man. They’re gorgeous, and the leather upper really conforms to your foot. I like these because they can ground something that’s really feminine or romantic without looking like you’re trying super hard to make it feel “cooler”. The Row, $1,190
I have a couple of this kind of silk printed wrap skirt from Dries van Noten, but I’ve never tried one that’s a mini. I don’t really wear miniskirts in my everyday life, but I love this as something to bring on vacation to wear during the day, OR over a swimsuit. These colors! Too beautiful! Dries van Noten, $515
