Fresh Flowers, Found Treasures & a Little Something Useful

A few favorite things, gathered thoughtfully for the perfect hostess gift.

There’s something quietly special about putting together a gift from pieces that each tell their own little story.

CUSTOM GIFTS

Fresh flowers clipped from the garden — slightly wild, never too perfect. A thrifted vase with just enough character and history to make it feel collected rather than bought. A painted pup card from my collection tucked alongside it, something personal and playful to keep long after the flowers fade.

And then, something useful.

A tea towel draped over the edge of the arrangement — soft, beautiful, practical. The kind of thing that becomes part of someone’s everyday rhythm: hanging from the oven handle, folded beside a sink, wrapped around warm bread at dinner with friends.

BOTANICAL TEA TOWEL

I’ve been thinking lately about gifts that don’t feel disposable. Things that can be enjoyed slowly. Flowers for now, art for later, something handmade for every day.

HAND PAINTED CANDLES

The older I get, the more I believe the best gifts aren’t necessarily extravagant — they’re thoughtful. A collection of small, meaningful objects gathered with care.

Maybe that’s the whole art of it.

Notes on what I’m currently working on.

Soon to come a very large, hand painted mirror inspired by spring and a trip to the Secret Garden. More to come on this so follow along @studioebloom.
