Each day, nearly 130 people in the United States are killed by guns Email, Too many elected officials are refusing to pass life-saving laws, prioritizing gun lobby interests over the safety of our communities. In order to end gun violence, we need your help to hold our lawmakers accountable and fight back against the Trump administration's gun extremism.
As gun manufacturers flood communities with dangerous firearms, Everytown has helped pass life-saving solutions. Recently, we helped pass a new law in California that would block the sale of guns that are easily converted into weapons of war and a whole slate of gun safety bills in Virginia, including an assault weapon ban. But, right now, the Department of Justice is suing to stop both laws in order to placate gun extremists and the gun industry.
