Named after the marmelo quince, the inspiration for marmalade, this is a thoroughly comforting shade. As we enter the heart of the marmalade-making season, it is only fitting that we’ve selected Marmelo as one of our essential winter colours.

Hardwick White No.5

This traditional grey was originally created to touch up the old limewash at Hardwick Hall and doesn’t look very white to most, unless contrasted with strong shades like Off-Black. Hardwick White’s rich and chalky hue sits just as well in a contemporary room as it does in a historic house. Its ability to retain a sense of warmth even in cool, wintry light is exactly why we’ve named it one of our essential colours for the season.
