URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell the Senate to REJECT MAGA’s pro-corporate Farm Bill that hurts food-insecure families, small farmers, the environment, and innocent animals! >> Take immediate action!
The status quo isn’t working, Andy. Our current agricultural policies primarily benefit giant chemical intensive commodity farms and polluting, animal-abusing factory farms – at the expense of small, organic farmers, food-insecure families, and public health.
The MAGA-backed Farm Bill further entrenches this failed system – and makes it even worse. In this bill are provisions that would cut billions from food assistance and conservation programs while steering subsidies toward Big Ag operations and language that delays critical safety review for hundreds of pesticides.
But there is good news, Andy. Thanks to public outcry and members like you responding to our previous calls to action, the Senate bill does not contain the Save Our Bacon Act, which would have overridden local and state laws protecting animals, public health, and consumers, or the provision that would have shielded pesticide companies from liability.
This is proof that actions like yours matter, Andy – which is why I’m asking for your help again. Tell your Senators: REJECT the MAGA-backed Farm Bill that boosts Big Ag corporations at the expense of small farmers and innocent animals!
