A scrawny, starved mama polar bear struggles along the thinning Arctic ice. Behind her are two baby cubs, following her every move. But as they reach the end of the ice, they are now faced with an impossible decision: swim or STARVE.
Polar bears have been recorded swimming for DAYS ON END in search of firm sea ice. And while some have survived this long, grueling challenge, many have not.
This iconic species is already on the BRINK OF EXTINCTION, Andy, with the Arctic melting FOUR TIMES faster than the rest of the planet. And now, it's about to get a whole lot WORSE as the Trump administration opens up Arctic lands to profit-hungry oil and gas companies.
Soon, these lands could be COMPLETELY DESTROYED by oil rigs, pipelines and toxic spills – further threatening vulnerable wildlife, like polar bears, and the communities that live nearby!
