MORE GUIDED VISUAL RUNWAYS ADDED TO GARMIN DATABASES

We have added 18 more runways, including 13 new airports, to our list of guided visual procedures available to Garmin database subscribers. These additions bring our totals to 64 guided visual approaches at 48 U.S. airports. Displayed as RNAV G approaches1, these guided visuals are loaded into your integrated flight deck or navigator the same way as traditional approaches.
There’s also a new option that lets you view guided visuals directly on FliteCharts® procedure charts in the Garmin Pilot™ app on Apple® mobile devices2 — adding peace of mind when you’re flying into select U.S. airports where terrain or obstacles may pose special challenges on approach.

EXPERIENCE GUIDED VISUALS ON THE GARMIN PILOT APP

If you’re a subscriber to our guided visual OnePak™ database, you can now use your Apple mobile devices to view guided visual FliteCharts procedure charts in the Garmin Pilot app. You can also load guided visuals as an approach procedure within the flight page for viewing as an overlay on the map, just like other approach types. This update brings new levels of integration and simplicity to your preflight planning. Check out this and other new Garmin Pilot features today.
