Your Favorite Small Business Could be Awarded $20,000 USD

Good news! We've extended the application deadline for the Global Citizen and PayPal Small Business Impact Awards until July 31st at 8:00 PM ET.

Now in its second year, the awards program will recognize 15 outstanding small businesses, three times as many as last year, with $20,000 USD each to help accelerate their social or environmental impact.

Who is Eligible?

Active Business Leader

Applicant must be the Business Owner, CEO, or Founder and be actively involved in business strategy and/or operations.

Small-to-Medium Sized Business

Business has fewer than 50 full-time employees or annual revenue under $1 million, and be registered as a small business in its home country.

Serve the Local Community

The business must operate and primarily serve the local community.

Demonstrate Community Impact

The business should have at least 3 years of operation and show significant, tangible contributions to the local community.

Businesses Cannot

- Be affiliated with an entity subject to financial sanctions by the U.S. government

- Be a franchise or part of a national or international chain.
