Celebrate Juneteenth Weekend with the Valkyries! Join us for a special two-game celebration of Black culture, history, and community in the Bay. It all kicks off Thursday, June 19 vs. Caitlin Clark and the Fever, and continues Sunday, June 22 vs. Marina Mabrey and the Sun.

Both nights will feature live performances, community partnerships, and giveaways for the first 10,000 fans—starting with a limited-edition Valkyries x Juneteenth poster by Oakland artist Taylor Smalls on June 19, and the debut Valkyries rally towel on June 22. Plus, don’t miss the Juneteenth cookout and watch party at the Oakland Museum of California on June 19.

This celebration is part of the Valkyries’ year-round R.I.S.E. initiative—uplifting Black and Brown youth through education, basketball, and community empowerment. Learn More →

Europe’s biggest stage in women’s basketball is here! FIBA Women’s EuroBasket is Europe’s premier women’s basketball tournament, showcasing the continent’s top 16 national teams in a battle for the title, with the winner earning an automatic spot in the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup. The Golden State Valkyries will be proudly represented at this year’s tournament, taking place June 18–29, with each player suiting up for their home country.
