TPL supported the successful passage of 2026 Parks Bond in Tacoma, Washington—which voters approved with 77% support. The $155 million investment will help protect natural areas, improve and modernize parks and recreation facilities, expand access to green space, and create safer, cleaner, and more inclusive places for communities to gather and play across the city.

TPL and the City of Bridgeport recently unveiled the winning entry for the Bridgeport Seawalk Logo Contest—Jess Tennyson’s artwork, voted on by the public from hundreds of submissions—as the official logo for the future 20-mile trail. Inspired by the city’s shoreline, wildlife, and community spirit, the logo will help represent the transformative public access project for years to come.
