The final weeks of winter feel like a holding pattern. I’m over the snow, the slush, and the blistering cold, which is why my mind has drifted elsewhere: longer days, lighter layers, and the first hints of spring.
Soon enough I'm hoping to replace my winter boots with some chukkas. My trusty corduroy pants are headed for a sabbatical while I slip into some bootcut jeans from Noah, and, I say this with a heavy heart, my winter puffer has to make way for an easy, throw-on overshirt. A man can dream, but that’s what wish lists are for, right?
