First, there were the arms: Multiple Met Gala attendees arrived on the red carpet last night with fake limbs sprouting from their torsos. Then came the nipples: Kendall Jenner and her sisters Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian all appeared in anatomically detailed molded breastplates, with Kylie’s and Kim’s also sporting navels. By the time Bad Bunny appeared in a face full of old-age makeup, the trend was clear. If the Met’s Costume Institute exhibit this year was about "The Dressed Body," the party celebrating it was all about the artificial one.
