For 2025 Vitra unveils the Antony Chair Limited Edition. The seat shell of the special limited edition model is made of European pine, which is known for its distinctive grain. A protective wax surface treatment emphasizes the unique pattern. The metal structure is powder-coated in the original Prouvé color: Rouge Corsaire.

The French designer and engineer Jean Prouvé created the Antony chair for the Cité Universitaire in Antony near Paris in the early 1950s. Ateliers Jean Prouvé commenced production of this design after winning the competition to furnish 150 rooms in what was then the largest student residence in Europe. The robust chair with its unique silhouette soon found its way into offices, waiting areas and living rooms.
