Acura at the Detroit Grand Prix

• Acura is the reigning winners of the Detroit Sports Car Classic, with the #93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian duo of Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly winning from pole in the event.
• Acura has won both races on the 1.7-mile downtown Detroit street circuit since the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship moved from Belle Isle to the facility in 2024.
• The 2024 edition of the race was won by Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque in their electrified Acura ARX-06 prototype.
• The series previously raced on the streets of Belle Isle Park, where Acura recorded four victories, including the 2019 event, won by Dane Cameron and Juan Pablo Montoya aboard their Acura ARX-05 prototype; consecutive GTD wins for the Acura NSX GT3 in 2017-18; and another overall win for the Acura ARX-01b prototype in 2008.
• This year Acura will be represented by a pair of Acura ARX-06s from Acura MSR, the #93 again piloted by Yelloly and van der Zande, and the #60 driven by Colin Braun and Tom Blomqvist.
• The Detroit Sports Car Classic is the shortest race on the 2026 IMSA schedule, tied with the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach at just 100 minutes. Acura and the #93 team took the win at Long Beach and will be looking to go two-for-two in the 100-minute races.
