After a year in Toluca, Mexican soccer star Héctor Herrera returns to the Dynamo midfield for the 2026 season. In his first stint with the club, Herrera helped lead the team to the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophy and was a MLS Best XI honoree. But there is unfinished business, and he’s back to finish what he started.

Héctor Herrera’s accolades include an Olympic Gold Medal (2012), a La Liga title with Atlético Madrid (2020), a CONCACAF Gold Cup Best Player Award, and being named Porto’s Player of the Year (2015).
