Our recent investigation into Sportsman’s Kennels, a dog breeding facility in New York, revealed shocking conditions and sickly dogs. Many of the adult dogs had sores and missing or matted fur. The puppies appeared to be in poor condition as well with some seen vomiting, coughing or wheezing. Disturbingly, this substandard facility proudly touts its American Kennel Club affiliation on its website and has AKC documents displayed on the wall inside the building. Sign the petition now to tell the AKC to stop protecting puppy mills.

Our investigator also saw dogs and puppies being kept in substandard conditions. In many cases, up to three dogs were confined to a single plastic bin. Some parts of the kennel were crawling with roaches, including food preparation areas and locations where puppies were born. These findings were so disturbing that we filed complaints with several agencies and local authorities, but we need you to raise your voice, too. Take action now and tell the AKC to stop supporting puppy mills!
