Like the multiple exposure technique used in photography, the original silhouette is superimposed with newly discovered forms, creating expanded compositions. These KYO CHIJIMI T-shirts are dyed and discharge-printed in Kyoto. After sewing, each garment is dyed in a single color, folded, layered with fabric, and tied before being immersed in a discharge solution, creating a unique checkered pattern on every shirt.
