Subject: A Club kid's vision for America's next chapter

Dear Email,

America is about to turn 250. As we look ahead to the country's next chapter, we're thinking about the young people who will help shape it.

For over half of America's history, Boys & Girls Clubs have been helping young people discover their passions, find their voice, and make a difference in their communities.

One of those young people is Anyia.

Anyia is 11 years old and a member of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boys & Girls Club in Chicago. She builds Lego towers with younger members, takes graphic design and coding classes, and is the kind of kid her peers count on for encouragement.

When asked how kids her age could help make the world better, she said:

There are more than 4 million kids like Anyia in Clubs across the country right now.

Kids learning to lead.
Kids discovering their voices.
Kids serving their communities.
Kids imagining how they can make a difference.

That's why America needs Club kids.

And it's why Boys & Girls Clubs of America is proud to help elevate young voices through civic engagement, leadership and service opportunities.

Some Club kids even take that journey all the way to Capitol Hill, where hundreds advocate directly to Congress each year about issues impacting their communities at our Summit for America's Youth. It's why Club alumni are 33% more likely to see themselves as leaders than other adults.

When we invest in young people like Anyia, we're investing in the future they'll help create.

And from where we're standing, that future looks bright.
