Lately, I've been overcome with both gratitude and emotion, humbled by conversations that have found me. Some arrived in emails. Some in handwritten notes. Many happened while standing together in our Venice Flagship — the kind of moment where someone quietly pulls me aside and says, “Can I share something with you?” Those conversations stay with me. Here is a recent one from a New Yorker: |

“I was new to the brand, walking down the street in Soho, and out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of a golden thread moving the other direction across the street. The strangest thing came over me. I told the person I was speaking to that I had to call them back, and I found myself crossing the street, walking up to a stranger and saying, ‘One Golden Thread?’ That person is now a confidante and friend. It's what led me to invest — I can't think of one other brand on the planet I would've walked up to somebody to connect.”

We've never really been making clothing: We've been weaving reminders of the gold that resides inside. Someone recently asked me what business I'm really in. For the first time, I didn't have to think about the answer. This is my life's work: reminding people of the gold they already carry within. New play-lust: Summer Sails I love music, and I love Team OGT — so I handed everyone at our Venice Flagship the aux cord. Twenty-somethings, thirty-somethings, fifty and sixty-somethings. What came back is exactly what you'd imagine: a beautiful mash-up. Huge love to Pierre-Pete, David, Talia, Jeffrey, and Brenna. None of it makes sense, which is probably why it all flows — four hours and forty-four minutes of road trips, late sunsets, open windows, salty skin, and everything in between.
